About us 

We are a small family farm in Dhading,Nepal. We are located 90 km west of Kathmandu in a small village called Dovantar,Nalang. We are currently working on 1 hectare of land with regenerative land management practices.

We Vision a safe space for us and others to observe and learn natural patterns to implement holistic lifestyle for the survival of our planet.

The world as we know is in the brink of collapse due to our excessive exploitation of its resources and gifts. We have forgotten the complex yet simple relationship between humans and it's surrounding and its symbiotic systems. So here at BarPipal we connect to our roots and innovate regenerative ways of life which will benefit all living organisms around us.

'We want to bring life back in the soil.'

This is our main Objective with our farm. Our soil has been degraded in such an extreme that without external input in our soil our crops are failing and our farmers are losing their livelihood in the process. We believe that by introducing soil biology, agroforestry, mulching, no-till and others regenerative practices we can improve our soil quality, bring diversity in our ecosystem and increase our yield so we can continue farming. 

Barpipal Farm aims at bringing the research and data on improving soil health to the local farmers and help them fight against big corporations, institutes; to become self-reliant and have  food sovereignty. 

Our mission is to bring the regenerative force of nature into peoples everyday life to create a better world for our future generation.

 All this starts from first living the life we envision and so follow us through our journey and come be part of it!!
